An evening to kick off the season of giving by giving
a little to ourselves and a lot to help 3Angels Fund.
In a 1962 article for Vanity Fair, Audrey Hepburn was asked for her beauty advice, the following is an excerpt from her answer:
"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair...true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!"
Clearly Audrey did not live in New York City in 2008, but we do and along with having a beautiful soul we need to know if we are wearing too much blush. It's great to have your make-up professionally done but it's even better to know how to do your own make up professionally. Vanessa Elese is the make-up artist for some of the biggest names in show business and for one evening only to benefit the 3Angels Fund she will give you the star treatment.
At this limited guest list event Vanessa will be sharing her celebrity holiday make-up tips as well as individual evening, daytime and "no make-up" make-up for each guest, and everyone will receive an Modern-Audrey Gift Bag sponsored by Oasis Day Spa. Plus there will be a silent auction for one of a kind holiday gifts.
3Angels Memorial Fund is a non-profit organization founded by actress NiCole Robinson (The West Wing, All My Children) and her husband Craig Snyder after the loss of their infant son, Lincoln, to a horrible disease called Aveolar Capillary Dysplasia ("ACD"), a congenital malformation of the lungs. 3Angels has already made significant progress in their goal of stopping ACD through genetic research.
